The Jackman Spring Fair was a HUGE success, raising over $55,000. Thanks to all the bakers who helped supply enough baked goods to last to the end of the fair this year, all people who volunteered to pull pork, bake the spinach/cheese pies, set up, tear down, contributed their barbecues, green bins and other household items, clean up, collect garbage, hang signs, move chairs and tables, and the dozens of other jobs required. Thanks to all the teen volunteers who helped out.
Here’s a gallery of great Spring Fair photos!
The Silent Auction was one of the biggest ever, and this could not be done with the generous donations from so many parents, friends and business owners in our neighbourhood, and to all the people who spent hours canvassing the area to get the donations. If you haven’t picked up your Silent Auction or Raffle items, please go to the office.
Please collect your crock pots and bake sale containers from the school kitchen.
Thanks again to our sponsors and donors. A list of names is attached.

A special thanks goes out to Patti Thorlakson, who has tirelessly worked at raising funds for the school with Pizza Lunch, the Raffle, the Spring Fair, and much more for the past 16 years, as her youngest son finally graduates this month. She has been instrumental in making the fundraising at Jackman the huge success it is today. Thanks Patti!
