Yes, it is happening again. Our very fun Harvest Festival In support of the gardens and eco-initiatives at Jackman and to celebrate the start of the new school year. We welcome everyone to dance, eat chili and baked treats, bob for apples, bring hallowe’en costumes to swap, buy your pumpkins and celebrate at this festive social community event. Meet your school council members as they serve hot dogs and chili.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Sign up for a half hour shift at the Bake Sale, the Book Sale, the Art Activity, the Free-cycle/Lost and Found, the Pumpkin Sale, Popcorn sale and Kitchen help. Please contact Claudia at firstname.lastname@example.org or Jen at email@example.com with your time and activity preference. Also, if you know of any Jackman graduates, high school students grandparents or school neighbours who would like to help, pass on this info and let us know.
Drop off Books for the book sale. Boxes will be set up after Thanksgiving in the front hall. We need adult and children books. No text books, please. Contact Lisa at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to help.
Drop off Free cycle items in the front hall after Thanksgiving. We are accepting
costumes, dance wear, soccer cleats, skates boots, and gently used Outerwear for re-use in our school community.

Sign up to make a pot of Chilli or volunteer to make it with your kid’s class. Contact Michelle Hunt at firstname.lastname@example.org or Jenny Carr at email@example.com Let them know if you are making a meat or veggie chili. Drop off in crock pots during the day of Harvest Fest.
Start baking for the Bake Sale. We need lots of delicious treats, as the bake sale is always well attended and we always run out fast. We’ll be accepting your baked goods throughout the day Friday, Oct 23. Nut free treats only please.
